'Til Death Do Us Part

They say love never dies, but it does. Approximately 600 years ago, give or take. Alucard the Hellsing Vampire never talks of his past life, with his wife and child, but oh, he never forgot. His former life was one of the many things that he had to confront when he disappeared into himself after the war with the Nazis, and 40 years later he finally returned to his rightful place within the Hellsing Organisation, alongside his faithful fledgling, Seras, and his master, Sir Integra.

What he wasn't aware of, however, is that someone has been searching for him, longing for him. Someone who lost their life 600 years ago, to whom he vowed "not even Death can do us part." Well, maybe he was right...maybe true love cannot die, after all.

But here's the thing: a lot has changed in 600 years, in fact, that's an understatement. Civilisation as he knew it back in Romania, is completely unlike to the society of modern England. Concepts of love, family, power, religion, conflict, loyalty and life as a general experience has adapted and evolved into something quite drastic, but Alucard is also very tenacious in nature. Something that *she* has also had to accept and learn. However, despite all that has changed in the world, she prays and hopes that her beloved husband and Count has remained unwavering, like her undying love for him.
