Akemae Shima lived a normal life until the age of seven, when blue flames engulfed him. But he didn't die. Instead, the flames bonded with his lifeforce before being locked in a ceremonial knife. Now, fifteen years old, he enrolls in True Cross Academy with his brother, Renzo Shima, and his friends. He quickly gains a sense of safety among these strangers. But as time goes on, he finds it harder and harder to keep the flames in his soul under control. Will he stay calm and protect everyone he loves, or will the fire turn him into what he fears most?
