In high school it was clear no one loved her the way she wanted, and as she advanced into the real world, her decisions had consequences she couldn't control. Learning who she is and the truth behind those closest to her, lead Hayden to making her own decisions that affect her life. She has unexpected things happen to her, and she falls in love with someone she never thought she'd be with. Is there a way for her to truly find what she's always wanted?

Alexis was never happy at home. A step-dad that never did anything but drink and make her feel like shit. A mom that never said anything to her husband about the constant bullying of her daughter - instead took his side. The only time she was remotely close to happy was when she was with her best friends - 5 of them to be exact. A hopeless crush on one of her best friends brother and the wish of always wanting a sibling. What happens when she goes missing, will her mother then realize how miserable she was and go looking for her? Or will she continue taking her husband's side when he says she'll be fine and probably just left for a little and will be back later? Is he right or has something terribly wrong happened to Alexis?
