This is the story of 16-year-old Armoni Morris. A smart, but troubled young girl. Still hurting from her father's tragic murder, Armoni hangs out with the trouble-makers at school and doesn't make the best decisions. Deep down inside though, she feels there might be something more to her. But with her mother's constant nagging, her friend's bad encouragement, and her troubled past, is this possible? Armoni meets someone who believes there is something more to her and tries to help, but Armoni makes a bad decision that could ruin her life forever. Will Armoni choose the right path or will it be too late?

"Life is like a sketchbook. There's a beginning and an end. When you start, your drawings will start simple but become more detailed over time. Some are filled with color while some are black and white. Some were easy to create while others took more hard work. Some pages were bent and scribbled while others have been torn out completely, never to be seen again. Some people appreciate your art while others tend to criticize. Your sketchbook is your life. The question is.. What art will you create?" Jayda Joseph lives in a very strict household of Christians. She only pretends to be faithful to her religion, so her parents do not find out what really goes on in her life. Jayda wants to listen to her parents, but she cares about her freedom more which leads to a frightening mistake that completely changes her life. She meets a boy by the name of Charles. He is what brings her life to hell, and a new member to the family. Jayda learns the hard reality of what the true definition is of "consequences."
