Seventeen year old McKenzie Diaz moves to a new city and school during the school year. Knowing nobody at school, she keeps quiet until she meets him. Alex Blake, the schools caption of the soccer team. During a school fire drill, McKenzie watches Alex juggling a soccer ball which fascinates her since she played soccer a little bit at her old school. She finds Alex and they start talking. She convinces him to teach her soccer skills and to make the schools soccer team which is holding tryouts. McKenzie faces bullying, loss, and falls in love. McKenzie came to a new school where nobody knew her and makes herself known to the school and city.
