What he hated however, was skating and getting goaded into doing so by Gen Warner, his old childhood neighbour and the seventh member of their ragtag bunch who had moved across the country for a couple of years for her job, who had moved back to town and into their friend group once again seamlessly in March. Oh, and also Lin's ex-girlfriend and the woman he once considered the love of his life before their relationship crumbled into dust when she moved away.
Honestly, it was barely awkward these days.
