All Asher Burns wants is to live his life like a normal college student but how does one go on normally after watching a near suicide? The tragic event happened two years ago but left him with nightmares and vivid images during the day. His mind can't seem to shut the event out. For Christmas vacation, he decides to get away from the small town, that hurt him too much, and take a trip to Idaho. Who he later meets will shock him to his core and turn his life around. *** "It never stops. It doesn't get better, when I think it's getting better it just doesn't." She started, tears once again streaming down her face. "I'm sick of it. They don't even care." Bliss hadn't ever told anyone how she felt inside and she didn't know why she was opening up to a complete stranger. Maybe it was because it's easier. She would never see him again anyway. "They do though. Someone always cares. You just need to let them know you're hurting. It'll get better just please don't do this. You need to stay so things can get better." Asher replied. His heart pounded against his chest. Part of him wanted to believe he could talk her out of this but deep down he feared he couldn't save her. "I've tried for so long to stay and wait for it to get better but it doesn't. Tell them I'm sorry." She said quickly looking over her shoulder then turning back around to face the water below. "BLISS NO," he yelled. That is when his deepest fear became reality. Bliss had stepped forward and began falling, all Asher could do was call 911 and wait for them to send help. Her screams echoed in his mind and little did he know they were there to stay for years to come.
