She goes out on a trip with her family to the Talatal Ghar, a palace built by the ahom kingdom, in Assam(India). It is said that the talatal ghar has secret underground maze like tunnels that were built as an escape route for the Ahom kings. Mira doesn't believe these myths about secret tunnels but then her beliefs are ripped away when she falls down into one such tunnel by mistake or intentionally lured in by someone or something.
