I write when I am alone and find it hard to deal with my emotions, whenever I feel trapped in the eye of an impetuous storm, and whenever I feel overwhelmed by reality. Writing poems for me is an escape from all sorts of feelings that I feel too inundated by. Some of these poems were written in the darkest moments of my life. They became my light. I hope you feel the same way when you read them.

Avni : His Silent Light
He held up his hands, trying to sound casual, but the sight stopped her cold-blood smeared across his fingers, dark and fresh. "Relax, it's nothing," he said smoothly, his voice trying to soothe, but her heart pounded in stark disbelief. Her eyes widened, fixed on the crimson stains, a silent scream caught in her throat. Horror dripped from every glance. "Nothing? You killed him," she whispered, voice barely steady, trembling with a mixture of fear and accusation. "You're a murderer." He scoffed, a cold shadow flickering in his unreadable eyes. "Don't insult me wifey. I'm above that." The weight of his words pressed down like a guillotine as she steadied herself, voice sharp with defiance. "I'll tell everyone. I won't marry you." A slow, cruel smile curved his lips as he leaned in, his breath ghosting against her ear like a deadly promise. "Will you? Go ahead-tell everyone. I'll destroy everything you hold dear, just like your telling would destroy mine. We'll go down together." He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a chilling whisper. "And as for not marrying me... oh wifey , you don't get to choose. You'll be mine-whether it's in a wedding dress, or buried in a legend". He wasn't supposed to pull her in-didn't even understand why he was drawn to her. She wasn't the most beautiful, but something beneath the surface called to him. A ruthless heir haunted by betrayal, he never let strangers close... yet he craved to keep her. ☆☆☆☆
Stolen Love

"You can't marry him Vaani" I said staring deep in her eyes gritting my teeth my chest tighten with unfamiliar and unbearable pain , just the thought of her being with someone else kills me so much. "Why?" She asked adding salt on my wounds anger consumed me at this moment, while tightening my grip on her arms and pulling her closer I let out a painful chuckle and said " Because he don't deserve someone like you he deserves someone much better" I could feel the burn in my eyes, my tears are fighting to rolled down my eyes but I didn't let them , hurting her is hurting me more than she could imagine. She remained silent tears rolled down her eyes damage caused by my words were clearly visible in her eyes , I am dying to hug her comfort her but the betrayal the, damge ,the pain I am carrying all these years stopped me from doing so. "Do you hate me this much Nirvaan?" She asked in painful voice looking straight in my eyes , my heart clenched painfully on her condition , I wiped her tears and whispered so softly that she can't hear it. He was hers-her Rudhransh, her devil, her monster husband. Once, he had belonged only to her. But everything had changed three years ago. Now, he loathed her, despised her with a fury that left scars deeper than any blade. And to hurt her, to shatter whatever was left of her soul, he was doing the unthinkable. He was marrying someone else. He was becoming someone else. The room swam around her as she watched him fill another woman's hairline with vermillion, his fingers steady, his expression indifferent. The mangalsutra lay against her throat like a verdict, final and merciless. Her heart twisted violently inside her chest, every beat sending cracks through her already fragile existence. She took a step back-then another-as the cruel reality crashed down on her, suffocating her completely. Gone. He was gone. Yet, against all logic, I feel it-I feel the heat rising beneath my skin . The mere idea of his touch sends shivers down my spine, igniting sensations that I desperately want to ignore. This isn't right. I shouldn't crave the presence of someone I despise, but my body betrays me, responding to him in ways that my mind fiercely rejects. He stands so close that his breath fans across my face, warm and intimate, stirring emotions that I refuse to acknowledge.
