When your a kid you never quite realized how fast time moves. Adults will say it all the time, but it never really connects. Both Mae and August seem to have felt those painfully slow days the past few years, swimming in their respective problems. August hasn't felt what it was like to create a song you were proud of in so long, he almost didn't know it was a feeling. Mae hasn't even been able to bring herself to try, and in between the fashion shows and brand deals, she wouldn't even have the time.

But when they see each other for the first time in years, time starts to move again. Infact it might be the quickest month of their lives, running away to a little lake house rediscovering a love for music (and each other) the same way they'd first learned it.
