Jack Channing, a 25-year-old artist with a cult following, has worked as a recluse for the past seven years following the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend, Rose Bernardi.
In an attempt to finally move on, he shares his story of what happened that night through a painting that shows Rose in bed with a monster- the creature he saw drag her into Moonwood Forest surrounding his childhood home.
But all his newfound fame disappears overnight when Rose and the creature disappear from the painting just before it's sold and he is blamed for a stunt he didn't commit.
To restore his reputation, and sanity, Jack will have to return to Moonwood to face the monster of his past and answer questions about that night he'd rather forget before he loses Rose, and everyone else he loves, all over again.

Though, when she heard the news of kids being killed, their blood used for murals and then him not showing to class made her worry. After a few days, she started to hear rumors of a 'Bloody Painter' and went to search online, finding that the story was the same as her friend and made it her mission to contact him and figure out a way for her to help him.
