What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...) So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. Minho and Thomas are the best of friends, and they live conveniently close to each other. They hang out with a small circle of friends, which has always been the case. However, recently, Minho has been subtly mentioning a friend of his from Bristol, England named Newt. According to the idea, he was supposed to come in a few months as an exchange student and stay in Minho's house for the entire duration. Thomas was fine with it, as he was a considerably friendly person and trusted that two months would be easy to manage. What could possibly go wrong?
