Alexandrya De Vendetta was not like other girls, she didn't normally get this bothered by a vampire, but she was starting to twitch each time he opened his fang filled mouth or didn't care when she stabbed him with a butter knife. An "Ow!" Would surely be common curtsey to any wound she inflicted, she had her superhuman strength and vampire hunter reputation to keep up. Devon, UK was usually so quiet, all the sound the vampires made was "Poof."

Ever so slightly nonsensical and fast paced vampire hunter parody, staring a teenager who would rather have something else to do with her life. Like eat a vat of paella.

Enter Paul shouting:"Was that an alien? It bloody is!"

Enjoy if you dare.

I used his now still chest to push myself up on steady hands, puffing a loose hair out of my face I considered the head, barely attached to the side of the vampire's shoulders. Then I retrieved the short sword at my back, while I swung the sword in a full arc, I expelled a small huff of breath and severed the head of the monster that had stolen Isabelle. The vamp's mass now blocked the front door, so I threw the head out the opening and heard it thump down the stairs. I felt eyes watching me. I scanned my surroundings expecting to witness the mystery vampire from earlier attempt to sneak up on me. Instead, I met the dull brown eyes of a little girl curled up in the corner. "Who are you?" Way too calm for the current situation, her soft voice contrasted in the macabre cabin. There was a good chance she was in shock. "My name is Aisling and I kill the monsters," I said, rising from the squatting position I had assumed to evaluate Isabella's injuries. "How did you know he was a monster?" The sound of raw pain and misplaced admiration in her voice broke my heart. "Oh, honey. They're all monsters." When vengeful Aisling Brooks must pretend to date Master vampire Roderick Keats, he tries his best to rock her views of the supernatural community. That doesn't stop her from trying to kill him though. Immersed in the very world she hates, Aisling must find the person that hired her or forfeit her life and those of her friends. Roderick becomes detached after her assassination attempt, while Aisling is cut off from her friends and help. It seems as if all of Roderick's people are aloof at best and homicidal at worst. As her preconceived ideals crumble beneath her, Aisling finds Roderick isn't the only one being hunted by the mysterious benefactor. While discovering that she might be the worst detective in history Aisling is sure of one thing: part of her will not survive trying to kill Roderick Keats.
