With the presence of an honest, honorable Queen like Historia, conservatives and underworld crime lords, (who only thrived under the previous corrupted knights of the round and its King), lost power, control and influence over the people - which spawned a poisonous hatred for the new queen.
A storm began to brew against the crown.
Whether it was wearing the burden of a crown, being open with the truth to the people, exposing the corruption within the government following closely beneath her rule or her desperate cooperation with the scouts and their endeavors - prying eyes lingered within the shadows, full of distaste for the work she has done.
Unable to accept her methods and the change that she brought with it, a new kind of corruption began to fester- but not at the core; simply seeping in like a plague ever so slowly.
Historia soon finds its difficult to figure out who are truly her brothers and sisters in arms - only having Levi to trust with her life.
