With the presence of an honest, honorable Queen like Historia, conservatives and underworld crime lords, (who only thrived under the previous corrupted knights of the round and its King), lost power, control and influence over the people - which spawned a poisonous hatred for the new queen.
A storm began to brew against the crown.
Whether it was wearing the burden of a crown, being open with the truth to the people, exposing the corruption within the government following closely beneath her rule or her desperate cooperation with the scouts and their endeavors - prying eyes lingered within the shadows, full of distaste for the work she has done.
Unable to accept her methods and the change that she brought with it, a new kind of corruption began to fester- but not at the core; simply seeping in like a plague ever so slowly.
Historia soon finds its difficult to figure out who are truly her brothers and sisters in arms - only having Levi to trust with her life.

Unseen || Levi Ackerman
"For fuck's sake. Do you ever stop being a self-entitled brat?" he asked calmly, like it wasn't the hundredth time I'd tested his patience. -"Only when I'm asleep. And even then, I dream of being right," I smirked. ⛧°. ⋆༺♱༻⋆. °⛧ Violet came to university with one goal: study criminology and fight for justice. Falling for someone? Nowhere on the list. Especially not Levi. Arrogant, brilliant, and infuriatingly smug, he's her biggest academic rival from day one. Both are determined to come out on top, no matter what it takes. They can't stand each other... yet somehow, they're always in each other's heads. But as the rivalry deepens, so does something far more dangerous: something unseen. And when their walls finally begin to crack, they uncover more than just shared ambition... they find pain, purpose, and maybe even each other. #2 in academicalrivals

Y/n and Levi both grew up in the underground city. It was a rough and harsh environment to live in but, those two managed to survive. The friendship game was close, until something or someone interfered. With that, she decided that she wouldn't let go of the compelling feelings deep down inside of her. The life she was living got a little more happier when two certain people entered it. Too many things to yet be uncovered. Secrets kept away from long time ago to finally be revealed. A last hope for humanity to survive. The only thing it takes is to take a risk and wish for the best. Will revenge get in the way of something she really wants? Or will she suffice the fact that it's time to let go and live her life in peace? DISCLAIMER: I basically had to rewatch almost everything to kind of rewrite what the character's dialogue says. I thought I would mention this before someone attacks me saying I don't own AOT content and I copied it. I just rewrote it so it would fit in with this story.Complete
