It's Snowfest, and the Sheriff's Department has been asked (well, ordered) by the king of Pure Heart Valley to organize a holiday trip for some of the Sweetypie children. In the morning mad rush to make it to their vacation destination, they all make one little oversight involving a little blue bat-deputy who ended up getting left behind.

A Christmas-themed 'Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart'-story based on the film 'Home Alone'.

Sybil 'Billie' Harewicke's life leaves much to be desired, starting with her ridiculously old-fashioned name. She's a rational, dull person - who had the misfortune of being born into a family of local witches. Her main interest in life is the Library Science - and they had just closed the library in her home county of Fleckney. She works in the only bookshop in the county - while everyone expects her to join the family business of fortune telling and potion brewing. Even the one ability that she allegedly inherited from the generations of self-proclaimed psychics, is the least useful out of the Seven Harewicke Gifts! It's holiday time in Fleckney, which means extra work for Billie, both with her family and at the bookshop. When she's offered to escape both and to work in the Bjornsson Art Fund for two weeks before Christmas, she couldn't be happier. She's always dreamt of getting her hands on the magnificent library of the Bjornsson Hall. Except, it turns out that the job has got nothing to do with bibliothecography - and is a nightmare! And a rowdy, unsophisticated crowd of filmmakers arrive at Fleckney to scout locations and research the scene. The only consolation is that none other than Archie Billingsley is among them. He's everything a celebrity should be: handsome, eloquent, prone to spontaneously quoting Shakespeare, and calling his fans 'darling.' He's just starred in a highly successful Austen adaptation, and there are rumours of an upcoming Chekhov stage play. Among other guests of the Hall are Billingsley's agent, an eccentric director, a dozen of crew members, and Eric Dair, an actor best known for playing every thug, mafioso, and terrorist in pretty much every latest blockbuster, at home and across the pond. Billie is hardly enthused at the prospect of interacting with the motley crew - but at least it'll allow her to avoid the local obsession with holiday romance and finding their true love on Christmas! Bah, humbug!

Mika Whiskers was looked down upon by her family (except for her mom, who died when she was young). She was abused both verbally and emotionally in her childhood causing her to eventually run away from home. After traveling for a while, and finding herself in the legendary kingdom of Pure Heart Valley, she meets Mao Mao, the sheriff of the town and his two companions, Badgerclops and Adorabat. She tells them she is a "traveler", afraid to tell them about her childhood abuse and that she ran away from home only a few days earlier. Mika becomes great friends with all of them quite quickly, and maybe even a little more than friends with Mao Mao... FIY, Mao Mao, Badgerclops, Adorabat, and Tanya Keys belong to Parker Simmons! I only own Mika ;3 Follow Café Meow Fanfictions (@falluroo)! They inspired me to make this book so so all credit goes to falluroo and Parker Simmons! :3 Also sorry if the story is SO RUSHED- I'm not very good at coming up with things to happen, I like getting straight to the point. And I know that can't always happen so I tried my best with this :'D Also there might be some cheesy parts so be warned 👌🏻 I hope you like the book! I really tried on it and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! :D (this book is kind of Hallmark Channel in a nutshell honestly) Also: I deleted Love & Lies 2 because I don't have any motivation to write it anymore so- :') Art cover by meh u-U
