Jeremiah McCarthy is a 17-year-old gay young man, who lives with his dad, Jeremy, and his younger brother, Jenson, after his mum's departure a year earlier for an older man with money. They haven't seen nor heard from her in eight months since the divorce. Jeremiah is also the proud papa to a beautiful baby boy he named Julian, who is 2-months-old, who he became pregnant after a one-night stand at a party. He's in his first year of college, having done online schooling to graduate from high school while he was pregnant with Julian. He meets Hudson Brown while picking his brother up from soccer practice, and who knows how these two will get along.
