Zayn Malik and Harry Styles are Kauai's top 2 surfers, who met on the waves. They became friends when they met 10 years ago, they were 8 back then. Harry developed feelings for Zayn, and with the fear of rejection weighing in his mind he chooses to keep these feelings hidden.
At regionals, with Zayn in blue in 2nd place and Harry in black in 1st, Harry goes for a 40ft wave and wipes out. Or that's what everyone thought.
But the coast drones watching the competition from above catch what really happens, and Zayn races to get Harry out of the water, before the shark gets another bite.
After the terrifying experience, Zayn realizes his feelings towards Harry as he's laying in the hospital bed, fighting death.

This story is based off of the movie, book, and true story; "Soul Surfer" and mostly focuses on challenges the boys face after the attack rather than the attack itself. There are some scenes in here that are similar to the movie but not exact. This is my story and idea so I'm sorry if you had the same one I promise I didn't copy!
