The drama begins in Because of You... One day, Johnny Angelli finds a strange ring in his locker at work and is suprised to find out that he can't take it off. Soon, he finds out that he is dead, only his sister, Erica, can see him, and that the ring belongs to his dead girlfriend, Donna Maitland. When Donna wants Johnny back, Johnny's not sure she's the right girl for him. On top of that, Johnny also finds out that he and Erica aren't related. When he starts having feelings for Erica, Donna plots revenge. Will Johnny be with Erica despite what Donna does? The man tells her his name finally but he also reveals a dark horrible secret from his past which traumatized him for years, then she feels like she's actually falling in love with him. He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own.
