Her father had left her so he can go back to the army. As Lyric grew up she lived with both of her parents mother's Eva and Roselyn in Arizona. Lyric finds a guy who treats her right but ends up abusing her. After she graduated at eighteen she joins the Army to find her father till she is twenty. She comes back from overseas to go to Arizona State. With her best friends Stephanie, Valerie, Leshia, Kelsey,and Angelica. Lyric ends up going to a Trey Songz benefit dinner for his foundation. They end up meeting each other. Will their relationship work out or will all of Lyric's past spilt them about.
