You may think that I would be a cruel heartless beast that doesn't know how to love. Well, your wrong. Don't judge book by its cover. My whole life my dad was either teaching me to be like him or he was torturing me. At 7, I ran away to an orphanage because I was tired of him being disappointed in me. Trust me, I'm nothing like him. I hate his beliefs, followers, his ways, or anything that is has to do with him. People may think he died after Harry Potter deflected the killing curse. Well, unfortunately, he lived but was still weak and to drink unicorns blood. I try to stay away from all that magic stuff this my dad always did because when he did it he went evil. Well, now I'm 11 and still not adopted. Yet, soon I feel like something strange is going to happen Hey guys!! So this is my first story so please read sry if it's not good. Like, read, comment!!

From the moment I received my letter from Hogwarts when I was eleven, I knew then that studying in a school filled with magic and mistery would bring adventures and mischief in my life. But what I didn't know was that in a world full of magic and madness, I'd be in so much danger. Just like now. I was stuck in a chamber hidden in the girls lavatory, Death and I were pressed against a cold, damp wall as the biggest snake I have ever seen slithered its way to us. I was shaking with fear, afraid that if it sensed that I was just in front of it, it would easily sink its humongous fangs at me, poisoning me with immense speed. I wouldn't worry about Death though, because he's immortal and cannot die. Tears were flowing down my eyes mercilessly as the basilisk moved closer. I felt Death's arms around my waist tighten as he pressed us further on the wall even though there wasn't any space left to go further. "Do not breathe" I heard Death say in my mind. I didn't breathe, and I made sure that I didn't make a single sound, yet my heart seems to betray me as it felt like it was exploding in my chest. Can anyone save us from this monstrous snake? ------- Second book from "The Eyes of a Seeker"
