Everyone who had seen one of those before had froze in their tracks. The others froze in fear since they didn't know what it was. It could have hurt them. 
"Marinette, I need you to stay awake. I can heal your injuries. You just need to stay awake!" Tikki quickly said. 
Marinette could hear her but continued her coughing. She couldn't respond. The taste of blood, her blood, was in her mouth.

What had stopped them from taking off their masks and changing clothes was the portal that had opened up from above. From it, a girl, who looked on the verge of dying, had fallen down from it.

Everything had been going down lately: Lila's return from Achu, Master Fu being forced to give her the Miraculous Box, her declining trust from her classmates, her friendships seeming to fall through her fingers, the increase in akuma attacks. Marinette, feeling like she has no one left to rely on, falls back on her Ladybug persona.
