After 5 years, Marinette finally returns to Paris for her very own fashion show, organised by her mentor Audrey Bourgeois and the fashion tycoon Gabriel Agreste. There's no reason not to- she is definitely over Adrien. She's finally over their past. And we're not just talking about her embarrasing-one-sided-crushing-on-him past. She thinks it is over. She thinks that it's going to be perfectly okay. 

But the real question is: Will she? 

With his assets and looks and a world famous girlfriend, Adrien is definitely the most enviable person in Paris. And he is happy, well, at least, he tells himself that. But when Marinette comes back, he desperately dives for the one thing that he can't get: redemption. 

The two of them tries to figure out their feelings for each other. But they must quickly do so. Because Marinette's on a one-way flight back to the other side of the Pacific in just 25 days.

Marinette's life was getting bad ever since Lila promise to her in which she told lies about what Marinette did but didn't do in which all of her friends except for Chloe, Nino, Alix, Kagami Juleka, Zoe and Luka turned against her and bullied her and not even Adrien who was her crush but got rejected by him and told her to take the high road saying that Lila's lies weren't hurting anyone but they were in which they were hurting her badly. Marinette's ex friends started to bully her and hurt her while Adrien didn't do anything to stop Lila from ruining her life in which the love for Adrien died out because Marinette sees for what he truly is and that is a spineless coward who doesn't do anything but take the liar's side instead. But everything was going to change when someone new arrived who shares some similarities to the Agreste and he will not be like the others who fall for the liar but instead will help Marinette with her problems as well as finding a new love interest because the new guy is very compassionate and kind as well as smart.

On a visit to Marinette's, Plagg posed a request that changed both of their views on each other. How on earth are the kwamis supposed to keep this up? How long before their identities are the one thing they can't. keep hidden. ... "She threw me in a trashcan!" Marinette flinched, "That doesn't mean that she hates you." "She seemed pretty mad." Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place.
