"Don't worry about it! It didn't happen, and that's the end of it. Don't frown so much, or you'll get wrinkles darling.~"

"... but it could've--"

(Y/n) (L/n), an 17 year old in Aoba Johsai, and an unimportant volleyball player for the girls' team, has only three goals this year: hopefully make it to nationals, get through high school whilst managing her anxiety disorder, and move out of Japan, back to where her mother lives, Scotland, where she can study writing.

However, the entrance of the boys' volleyball team isn't something she accounted for, since apparently they want to make a joint effort to go to nationals. And when Oikawa Tooru, the flamboyant, gorgeous, confident captain offers to give her one to one sessions, after a sparking encounter, who is she to refuse?

Whether it's for the best or not, (Y/n)'s life is about to get a little more hectic than it already was.
