On top of Windburrow Hill stands a large manor. The Iplier Manor, once proudly owned by a rich hermit, stood for over a century on the hill, its gates locked after a massacre that happened in its walls.
One day, a small group of teenagers snuck into the abandoned manor, and found a chest hidden in the wine cellar. Inside the chest were letters, all to one particular person.
A colonel by the name of William J. Barnum.
Letters telling of a forbidden love, of war, of grief, and of pleads, hidden from the eyes of the people about a colonel whose name was never in our history books.
