A kiss is just a kiss until you find the one. A hug is just a hug until you find the one you're always thinking of. A dream is just a dream until it comes true. The word love was just a word until I heard it from you.
It was my favorite season, fall, where the leaves were changing color in bright colors and falling slowly on the ground. In fall I would take walks into the woods with my dog Padfoot, enjoying the nice bright colors. But, it all changed when my mother died of breast cancer. My dad decided to move out from the only house we lived in my brother,sister and I.
"Carly can you be silent a minute back there" my dad asked my little sister who was singing the song on the radio.
"Fine!" she replied in a rude tone.
"Okay, we are about to arrive in our new house with new neighbors,and hopefully a new life" my dad explained with a sigh.
"A new life, right" my sister said silently in the back seat.
"Can you give him a chance to explain Carly!" I yelled annoyed.

As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright." I wasn't quite sure what he meant but I nod my head. He lets go of me and looks at me before he turns away he says "I will be in my room if you need anything, okay princess?"
