Katara has been different since her mother's death. She buries herself in books and work, trying to distract from the pain. And Zuko's life is far from perfect. His mother is gone, his father is abusive, and his sister hates him. People seem to avoid him just because of the scar on his face. So when he gets dared to make Katara his girlfriend, saying if he did so he would get paid, he doesn't expect anything to come out of it. Then he begins to spend time with her and realizes maybe he wants something to come out of it. Now he needs to keep the dare a secret. But as the year goes on, she slowly gets her memory back, piece by piece. And those little clips of memory- not as picture perfect as her life seems. The Avatar is gone. He was not there when the fire nation invaded the earth kingdom and he is not here now, when a small group of rebels hiding in ancient ruins does its best to survive. Learning to trust-A Zutara Story de la_nature_est_mutte

Katara spend a great amounts of time hating Zuko after his betrayal under the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se. She had trusted him and he had betrayed her. When he joins Aang and starts teaching him fire bending her emotions get complicated and she is soon torn between her hatred towards the fire nation and her strange attraction to the Prince of said nation. Zuko infuriates her, annoys her , he is a constant reminder of Aang almost dying yet she finds herself trusting him again and slowly loving him. ~*~*~*~ The story is currently under Edit because it has been two years since I completed it and my English and writing ability have improved since then. I just need to fix it and make it perfect!

A prophecy states that fire and water must be destined together... Is it Zuko and Katara the prophecy is talking about? Or.. Will Aang and Katara continue their Love?
