I've been really stressed with school lately and I have another story that's my main focus right now, but I'll come back to this when I'm in the right headspace to take it on :)

A book appears out of nowhere along with a note from a secret author. They claim to know the darkest secrets of the (seemingly) happiest nation. 
What will they discover about his traumatic past and his ghastly present?
Is he really okay? 
Or will his collection of masks come crumbling down. 

(This is my first story so please be gentle.)
Constructive criticism is welcome. 
I do not own hetalia, the mentioned characters or the cover.
I only own the storyline.

Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.
