Four months ago Legolas arrived at Mirkwood abused and lost. Now it is Legolas's first Yule in Mirkwood and he desperately wants to give Thranduil the gift of finally calling him 'father'. But the night before Yuletide Eve Thranduil is caught in a blizzard.
Suddenly Legolas is alone again, afraid the home he has come to know is tumbling down around him, and Thranduil must face the harsh judgement of people who think he is the one responsible for Legolas's healing bruises.
Set in the middle of Nin Chronicles: My Lord.

Tora, a sixteen year old girl's house burned down when she was only ten, her parents haven't had enough money for anything in a long time, and blame it on Tora, for she was the only one who came out with deathly scars, and they had to put all there money into saving her. To make things worse, she now has horrible grades, due to her depression, and still carry the weight of being a wast of space wile people tease her for her scares. On her way back from school, she hears people singing, she runs into the woods, following the voices, only to be met by a glistening waterfall that sings a song of freedom and pease. This is not a Thranduil love story, I think she is too young for that so I'm going to make it so she becomes his adopted daughter. Legolas decides to go to the modern world and bring her back but Emily had no memory of her previous life, everything was not easy as Legolas thought it would be. The Return

Legolas receives a strange letter from Aragorn asking him to meet in Imladris. But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria.
