Four months ago Legolas arrived at Mirkwood abused and lost. Now it is Legolas's first Yule in Mirkwood and he desperately wants to give Thranduil the gift of finally calling him 'father'. But the night before Yuletide Eve Thranduil is caught in a blizzard.
Suddenly Legolas is alone again, afraid the home he has come to know is tumbling down around him, and Thranduil must face the harsh judgement of people who think he is the one responsible for Legolas's healing bruises.
Set in the middle of Nin Chronicles: My Lord.

To make things worse, she now has horrible grades, due to her depression, and still carry the weight of being a wast of space wile people tease her for her scares. On her way back from school, she hears people singing, she runs into the woods, following the voices, only to be met by a glistening waterfall that sings a song of freedom and pease. This is not a Thranduil love story, I think she is too young for that so I'm going to make it so she becomes his adopted daughter. The Return

But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria. Please Note: This is an older work of mine and while I still love it dearly, the writing isn't the best, and it is slightly AU because I didn't know Tolkien lore when I started it. Festering Darkness
After a failed spider mission, Legolas is left injured beyond what the Greenwood healers can help. Thranduil, worried for his son's Fea, sends him to Imladris for help. But the unit escorting the prince is attacked on the way and Legolas, after barely escaping, then fleas to the most unlikely of places where he hides, refusing to tell anyone of his whereabouts, afraid to go to Imladris, afraid to go home. This story fills in some gaps from The Return and creates a few more that I may delve into in a later fic. "I would rather spend one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone" was what Legolas said as Emily breathed her last on his lap. 500years passed by and Legolas lived in sorrow an elf could only die in battle or from a broken heart and King Thranduil feared the death of Legolas from his broken heart but during their visit to Lothlórien once more Galadriel gave the news that Emily was reborn in the modern world. Legolas decides to go to the modern world and bring her back but Emily had no memory of her previous life, everything was not easy as Legolas thought it would be.
