There was a knock on the door which was quite odd. Nobody actually owned the safe houses, so knocking was uncommon. A second later, the door did open, and in walked a tall man in dark robes. He pulled his cap from his head, wet from the storm, and that was when Hermione saw it. The smattering of platinum blond hair was unmistakably his. Draco Malfoy had walked through their threshold and was looking at them.

"Oh, for fuck's sake," he muttered.

"Did you know that your name is a dragon constellation?" She could hear Draco chuckle at what she just said as she faced him, wearing this grin on his face. "If I didn't know that then my grandaunt Wilburga would have my head." "Right," Finley grinned to herself as she looked down on her shoes. "Did you?" "Did I what?" Draco asks her. Turning his attention to her to see her frowning slightly at the ground, her brows furrowed with a small frown on her lips, looking like she had a lot of thought in mind. "Did you put your name in?" She asked him, "I know it's none of my business, but-" "I did." "Oh," she pauses. "Why? Scared for your brother?" "I am," she answers truthfully. "Just the idea of him being in danger scares me," she pursed her lips. "Well," Draco sighed, taking his back off the train car's side, and shoving his hands in his coat pockets. "It's not like the cup would pick him in the first place, right?" He tried to comfort her with a warm look on his face. "Right," she gives him a small smile, she could tell that he was comforting her just a little bit. And it worked. ~ ~ ~ ~ "In which she tried to shrug it off as a god awful dream." ~ ~ ~ ~ The story continues as Miss Slytherin maneuvers her new life thinking that all the awful things she's felt were all just a dream. (I do not own Harry Potter and its characters, all of them belong to JK Rowling. The book's plot and my characters that are not originally in HP are entirely mine alone as well as some settings that are not included in the books.)

Draco Malfoy's Perspective

39 parts Complete

My name is Draco Lucius Malfoy. I am a racist, I despise gingers and mudbloods, and my parents work for the man who killed James and Lily Potter, as well as many other magical people. This is how I grew up. Knowing only those facts for eleven years, being taught that everyone was beneath me. I continued to think this way for five more years, and regretfully, until after I agreed to kill Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of the school I enjoyed attending. Then I finally understood. I didn't do it on my own though. It took a few slaps and stern talking-to's from a very special person. A Pureblood named Violet Ramsey. She was in Gryffindor until the unthinkable happened. The Sorting Hat moved her. I immediately took to her, but she ignored me for the better part of the year. However, she came around finally and from there I got my first true friend. The first person who wasn't a family friend, Death Eater, or bribed. Violet was the only one to give me a choice in anything. So don't be surprised that I fell in love with her. Be surprised that she fell in love with me. Because I am not lovable. I am a Death Eater. A Malfoy. Slytherin scum. Or so everyone thinks. Well...everyone but Violet.
