When previously homeschooled Hatori Iwaizumi was thrown on her cousins front door to live with him for her first and last year of high school she had no idea what to do. Quickly befriending her cousins volleyball mates and joining the journaling club to fulfill her dream job of becoming a journalist she finally feels content.

Until one Oikawa Toru and the rest of his team convince her to pose as a novice journalist to gather information on rising star setter Kageyama Tobio from Karasuno.

Although bonding with the Karasuno team was a risky thing to do. Especially with a certain silver haired third year. With Hatori's eyes following one setter and her heart strings being pulled by another she questions if she can follow through with the original plan she was sent to do.
