Legends, stories scattered through time. Making stories of humans who were thought to have purpose, just to become remnants of a forgotten past. Mankind was such a pitiful species for being born in a world full of grim. Having no power, no resources, no sanity to fight against these creatures.
These creatures set their sights of man and all of his creations. Feasting upon the light that was stored inside their inner hearts. Returning mankind's brief existence back to the void. But even if the darkness has absorbed the light, there's always the littlest spark that can ignite change into the world.
These creatures of darkness have combined their purpose with man. Having the form of mankind, but the capabilities of these creatures. They named themselves Xovians, with the name Hanakali for their conjury. With their new perspective of life they made civilization full of light and life.
But eventually even the brightest of sparks are able to flicker and die, and darkness will strike again.
A/N: Not gonna lie, I'm getting major RWBY vibes from this. Cover art is still a work in progress, same thing with the designs.
