Marilyn grew up in Gotham. She is used to death and crime. She is desensitized to everything bad. Her parents died when she was 18. They left her nothing. She had to fend for herself.

Her job at Wayne Tower is her last chance to move out of the gutters and into the sky. A new person is hired every week at Wayne Tower but she becomes an invaluable employee when a vent in her office allows her to here meetings and conversations she's not supposed to.

To anyone else, her life would be fine, acceptable even. Marilyn isn't like anyone else, and her mental state has been leaning towards something a little more....exciting. She fights her urges so she can keep her job, but when a cold blooded killer enters the Tower and finds her in the closet, a switch was flipped.

When she meets Jerome; a dashing, handsome psycho who threatens to kill her, something in her........changes. Gotham wasn't prepared for her.
