Soulmates, we're always told we have one but I haven't been so sure I do. I mean I did get my tattoo and it hasn't disappeared yet, meaning they aren't dead. I guess believing in something like that takes a lot of effort. When you first touch your soulmate (Skin to skin contact) your tattoo turns a solid color. That color is the most important color in your life at the moment you touched.
In this world, there's a system to tell who your soulmate is. Nobody remembers how it happened but, one day people started getting these tattoos on their right wrist. These tattoos are a basic shape that resembles your soulmate's hair. The shape is filled in completely by the color of your soulmate's hair as well. In the center of the tattoo, there are 1-5 objects. Those objects describe what your soulmate loves to do.
The shape of my tattoo always fascinated me but I've never been able to put it into words. My tattoo shape is an upside-down half-circle if instead of the bottom part being flat, it opens and curves outwards. In the center of my tattoo was a volleyball, it always was a volleyball, it's never changed once. You see naturally, people tend to change hobbies, but whoever my soulmate was, they didn't change theirs, I never changed mine either which is fascinating. The color of my tattoo is a chocolaty brown.

The lines of fate
This is a kiribaku story so if you don't like the ship don't read this story. There's gonna be fluff and angst.They have quirks, and almost everyone has a soulmate. You have a thick line on your wrist that represents your soulmates hair and a thin line underneath that represents your hair. If you or your soulmate colour their hair the line is going to change colour on both of your wrists. When you kiss you will feel a jolt kinda and the line will disappear if you truly love them and all that, If you confront them and you don't love them romantically and they feel the same it will also disappear though it won't happen overnight it will take a little longer. This is my first story so I don't fucking know what I'm doing. Btw, there's probably gonna be a lot of cursing in this story, 'cause of Bakugou and meeeeeeee. Bye! In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16.
