Clarity

"Why are you my clarity?"

"Why are you my remedy?"

"You are the piece of me..."

"...I wish I didn't need."

I never quite understood why I had to be put in this position. It's not like we are directly related to Petra's family anyways.

"I do."

I had hoped those words would be of love, excitement.

But instead, it felt like a burden. It felt as if I was being crushed by thousands of bricks.

All we did was fight. He hates me, I hate him. All we know is pain and inflicting it on each other. Hange has had to call recruits in to separate us because it's gotten so bad.

And yet... somehow... along the line.. it stopped. He smiled at me, I was actually excited to see him, we actually could be in the same room together without supervision.

"If our love is tragedy..."

"Why are you my remedy... my clarity?"
