Props to my friend on discord for making most of this story and creating the AU itself.
As a god, apples life was all set. Once, he was the greatest god of time and carried on his fathers legacy for eons until he met a mortal by the name of onion. Apple spent all of his time living a mortals life with onion, and whenever onion perished of age, Apple would simply rewind the clock to when him and onion were young. Apples grandest enemy in this story is the godly council, who all threaten to erase him and his mortal friend from existence.
