An excerpt (and not exactly the first chapter) from the first book of my upcoming novel/novella (depends on how long the finished draft will be) series, Cageside After Midnight. "Blue" will be the first book, and I'm hoping to finish this (about time!) by the first quarter of 2015.

✨Book two✨ It's not necessary to read the first book but the characters from the first book do appear in this one. ------------------------------------- Iris was kidnapped when she was twelve and her life was filled with rules that made sure she couldn't even breathe without permission but what happens when she meets Carter Garcia? Pulling me closer Carter wrapped his arm around my waist keeping me in place while I placed my hands on his chest taking deep breaths. "The only one allowed to bite your lip is me, sí" he responded lowering his head. Before I could think of anything to say his lips were on mine.
