An excerpt (and not exactly the first chapter) from the first book of my upcoming novel/novella (depends on how long the finished draft will be) series, Cageside After Midnight. "Blue" will be the first book, and I'm hoping to finish this (about time!) by the first quarter of 2015.
Please note that this may change in the final release. In the meantime, enjoy! :)

Pulling me closer Carter wrapped his arm around my waist keeping me in place while I placed my hands on his chest taking deep breaths. "The only one allowed to bite your lip is me, sí" he responded lowering his head. Before I could think of anything to say his lips were on mine.
