It all sounded so simple when shapeshifter Aella accepted the mission.
Down in the slums of Catera, she is the best thief of Nox's Guild, known as Legend ever since she managed to steal from the Queen in broad daylight. In the palace, she'll have to be a Lady and find a way to approach the Prince, end his life, and get away with it.
But Aella isn't the only one who's scheming in Catera's Court. As she infiltrates the castle, numerous attempts are made on the princeling's life and she wonders why, exactly, so many people are interested in the royal's death. Investigating, Aella realizes the Prince is much more than he seems to be and she finds herself wishing for more than a few gold pieces for his life.
