Rae MacCallahan hasn't fully gotten over the death of her mother, or the mystery of why she was the sole survivor from the crash of United Flight 427. Try as she might, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else at play that day, but that was crazy... wasn't it?
Her entire worldview is shattered when she finds a mysterious necklace on a beach near her home in Aberdeen and her enigmatic coworker recognizes it as the artifact he has been searching for: the map to find Atlantis. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end.
