Del's plan for the summer before his senior year is rock solid; taking over his sister's job at the beachside ice cream shop and knocking out a few online college courses. The one thing he didn't take into account when laying this out in his head was Darcie, his best friend. While she's let him remain in the background for most of his high school career, the summer has blessed her with an annoying need for Del to participate in the popular high schooler scene.
