When her only way home is destroyed by rebels, Valeria makes it her mission to get back. She and her team scour the modern realm for any clues on how to fix the two portals that led to their home. Alone and in unknown territory Valeria attends Drakon Academy. Home to the world's largest demi-mortal library it was bound to have answers. The plan was simple: read as much as possible, take notes for future use, and keep a low profile. Three years later with little to show for it, Valeria has kept out of sight but made some along the way. She thought leaving them would be the hardest. That was until she ran into the Prince of Lycans. With things made a little more complicated, life in the modern world has gotten a little more interesting.

It's about violence and blood, betrayal and friendship, duty and dastardly deeds. It's about one woman, a vampire, trying to live a normal life, holding onto her past, and failing miserably. It's about another woman, equally entrenched in her past, trying to right the wrongs that can never be undone. Neither will succeed because, in the end, we all must move forward. But sometimes the future's a bitch we'd rather never meet... This book is still in the draft phases. Italics/all caps used interchangeably throughout. Any comments are encouraged and appreciated.
