I suppose we should begin now. 
This is the story of James Fade, a fifteen-year-old who only recently set out on his own. The story takes place on Metropolis II, a planet far from the one you currently inhabit. James is looking for work, with good pay and possible overtime.
I apologize to you if you wish to read a story full of happiness and comfort.  Sadly this only contains a few pages of said thoughts. 
However if you have an interest in the paranormal, suspected murderers, strange occurrences and living mascots, then stay.
This story is told by James from his perspective, I am merely the editor. Again, this is your last chance, if you wish to read something more cheerful please close this now. The story will appear innocent at first, but as it progresses things will simply become darker and darker.
And if you begin to see things, do not blame me for whatever happens.

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit
