The Red Flame is rising. And for Raya, there's no escaping.
After cyborg raiders known as Ravagers decimate her town, murdering her mother and separating her from her brother, Raya Mahew is captured and taken to the cyborgs' home base. Surrounded by enemies, Raya seeks to find her brother and escape from the desolate wasteland the cyborgs had been banished to. However, things are not as they seem, and one of the cyborgs-- Maxxwel-- claims to have known her mother many years before, and that she had ties to a mysterious organization known as the Red Flame.
Torn between finding her brother and discovering more about the intricate web of secrets surrounding her mother, Raya's only option is survival.
Joined by a soft-hearted boy-nurse and Maxxwel himself, Raya embarks on an adventure that will leave her questioning everything she thought she knew, as her mother's past-- and the mysterious organization she worked for-- threatens to catch up with Raya, too.
