Mature
Aurora Rothschild is a billionaire with an empire she doesn't run. There's a hard past behind her that hasn't been easy to pretend to overcome, considering the pillar of her life has been gone for quite a couple of years. Aurora us tormented and will do anything to cling onto a person until she realizes enough is enough.

The young woman finds herself trying to overcome her past without no one by her side which is unusual to her and a true challenge indeed but something she feels is imperative for her survival.

In the midst of the storms she's fighting, she'll find a confidant with a lot of 'bloody dark secrets' himself.

"You must be mad if you think of yourself as dull and antisocial; a person who opens up easily is one who needs and wants to be heard desperately which means they have a lot to say, thus they're beyond interesting. Also, maybe you should start loving yourself before looking for a man to do so; you're the only constant thing in your life, darling and more often than not men are rubbish."

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. His Empire, Her Rules

23 parts Ongoing Mature

I spilled champagne on a king. That's what Alexander Vance is - not just a billionaire, not just the ruthless man behind half the city's power plays, but the kind of man who walks into a room and makes everyone else orbit him. And I crashed straight into his gravity. Most women beg for his attention. I gave him attitude. Now, instead of forgetting me, he's pulled me into his empire... and made it clear I'm not leaving. The higher I climb in his glass-and-steel world, the more I see the shadows beneath it - whispers of deals made in blood, secrets worth killing for. And Alexander? He's dangerous enough to make me want him anyway. They say every empire has rules. His first one is simple: Don't betray him. And the second? If you do... run.
