Earth's blanket

sky was what you would call lonely, she had all those people around her but no one would look twice in her direction, it wasn't disgust or anything like that, it was fear.
the girl had never seen the world-up-there some kids said that it existed, the patrons disagreed.
one of those kids, Amanda, said that her name was what they called earth's blanket, that it could change, transform, create and destroy, like her. ironic that she never got to see it, huh.
