Ashton Hinou is a High School student with a crush on his childhood friend, Cage Sondai. But, he doesn't know how to tell him. Will the Hanahaki get to him before he confesses how he feels?

Hanahaki Disease is a mythological sickness in the Japanese culture. When someone has deep feelings towards someone, a flower grows in their lungs. If they don't confess their feelings, the flower will continue to grow. It grows more rapidly if the owner thinks or is around that person.
