Kiannah White is what people would typically call a 'psycho'. She was framed for setting a fire to her house, killing her parents, her little sister, and all the kids at her birthday party. She had been there when it happened, running for her family and watching the angry yellow and red flames swallow her wrists, her family and the innocent lives of those kids. She sees dead people, demons and angels. She sees auras of people's moods and it follows them around like a cape in the wind. She's stuck in a psych ward for months, thrown in by her 'loving' grandparents. But one night, something very odd happens. Kiannah agrees to help the seeing dead. Big mistake, breaking all the rules she made, thinking she would of never broken them until that night, just to escape.

Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident. Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.
