Tobio Kageyama didn't believe in love, he couldn't understand the concept of two individuals being so attached to one another that they agreed to stay together for life, practically attached by the hip. He'd never truly meant an "I love you" even if it was to family, he didnt think it was something that mattered. He'd only ever had a family member tell him they loved him, which is why he was so startled when the little orange haired boy on the hospital bed said it so easily, as if it were nothing. He looked sick, eyebags darker than any bruise Kageyama had developed through practicing with the Schweiden Adlers, but his smile was so bright it basically lit up the already fluorescent room.
