Set three years after "The Shining Eclipse", Yūgo Song and his friends have graduated from high school and are now first-year college students. One day, Yūgo suddenly became interested in starting his own street racing team after he was inspired by a street race he watched her older sister compete in Mt. Akina a few years ago. Together with his childhood friends, Yukina Minato and Lisa Imai, Yūgo takes up her sister's former mantle as a night street racer as he inherits her old Lancer Evo IX and forms a new street racing team, the Kita PhotonKnights. Join the new rookie street racing team as they live life in the fast lane in the world of illegal Japanese street racing and aim to be one of the best street racers of Tokyo, Japan.
