When you're born into peace, you take a lot of things for granted. You don't know to cherish what's always been there, because it's always been such a constant in your life. You can't picture the world without it. This was the case for Dream- despite being a member of the ruling family, he was blessed with the ability to choose. He was lucky to be able to live a relatively carefree childhood, but even then- reality had to set in at some point. He never really paid attention to what the consequences of his actions were until it came back to bite him in the ass at the worst possible moment.

Sapnap, on the other hand, just wants everything to be over already. Fuck magic and fuck you, Dream.

In other words, the nether rises, and along with it old grudges tied to forgotten faces.
