'Before we leave, I was wondering something... I noticed that your social worker called you Will and I suppose I'm wondering which name you preferred?' Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir. My social worker always forgot to call me Wilbur and I stopped correcting him a while back.' He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway. "Why?" Tommy sobbed, fingers clinging to the fabric of Philza's suit. Fat globs of tears fell down his cheeks and dripped onto his neck as he was forced down on the couch. "I don't want to be turned, please!" he cried, only for his words to be ignored as he was hoisted onto Philza's lap. Gentle fingers combed through his hair and words of comfort spewed from the vampires lips in a futile attempt to calm him. His tear-filled vision made out a hand that landed gently on his chin, lifting it up and exposing his neck. Not knowing what else to do, he screwed his eyes shut in cruel anticipation of what was to come. OR The SBI take a liking to a certain gremlin child and want him to be part of their vampire family. They're willing to make this happen whether he likes it or not. *warning* this gets messed up, if you're sensitive to darker themes I suggest you don't read, please.Complete
